Terrific trio join Metelec team

Three new starters at Metelec

Metelec has further strengthened its team by bringing three new people into the business across sales, accounts and the warehouse.

Paige Drummand, Natasha Holden and Penny Tung are the latest new recruits at the company’s Wolverhampton headquarters.

Paige previously worked at a West Midlands manufacturer. She has joined the Metelec sales and customer support team, where she assists with orders, quotes and booking in enquiries.

She said: “Everyone has been very welcoming and it’s a great team to be a part of. I’m thoroughly enjoying my new role.”

Natasha is Metelec’s new Accounts Assistant, offering support to the finance department, including managing bank accounts, making payments and other financial administration.

She previously worked at a waste management company in Burntwood.

Natasha said: “I wasn’t really enjoying sales so I wanted a change. I felt the skills I had developed in my previous roles could help at Metelec so I applied for the job and was delighted to be successful.

“I have tremendous support, not only from people in my department but from across the whole company. There is a great ethos and work environment here.”

Originally from Hong Kong, Penny moved to the UK in February 2023 with his wife.

He has 20 years of experience in customer service but is enjoying his new challenge as Warehouse Operator.

“My main responsibilities include packing and PAK marking,” he said. “This is my first permanent job in the UK and it’s fantastic to be part of a welcoming business.”

Metelec has a growing team and has continued its progression since moving to its new distribution centre at Hilton Cross Business Park at the start of the year.

Managing Director Kevin Draper said: “We are committed to providing exceptional customer service and a first-class working environment for our team members.

“We are delighted to strengthen our team further with the addition of Paige, Natasha and Penny. They have started very well and settled into their roles quickly.”
